Eclipse Quilt

Featuring Elegance Fabric by Frannie B Quilt Co.


This is the second Eclipse Quilt I've made, and it's such a fun quilt to make! It was especially great to see it come to life in the fabric Corinne Wells designed it for, her Elegance Collection from Riley Blake Designs.



This quilt consists of (giant!) snowball blocks and many flying geese, made using the no waste 4 at a time method, my favorite!




The units come together to create a block that very much resembles a solar eclipse, which was Corinne's inspiration for the quilt design.

Now it's time to choose the quilting design! I decided to use the Behold pantograph from Longarm League- it's a classic design that works well on so many quilts, and gives a great amount of texture.




Now it's time for the binding, and the finish!





This quilt is the perfect throw quilt for our great room. The colors are interesting and bold, but they blend nicely with the decor.



And as you can see, Jack the Cat Manager approves!
